Falcon 561 Blackfin
|
The Falcon-561 is a prototyping and development
system
board for the powerful BF561 Symmetric Multi-processing
Dual Core BlackFin device. Its primary purpose
is to serve as a
hardware platform for software to capture
video and send it
out over an Ethernet link.
Using two 100 pin connectors, the board
offers access to both
the full 32 bits of Async bus as well as
both PPI (video) ports
and both high speed serial ports (SPORTS).
This allows
custom peripheral boards to be added easily
without the time
and expense of developing an entire board
from scratch.
