Fusion IGMPv2 (Internet Group Management Protocol)

Fusion IGMPv2 software runs between hosts and their immediately neighboring multicast routers; the mechanisms of the protocol allow a host to inform its local router that it wishes to receive transmissions addressed to a specific multicast group. Based on group membership information learned from the IGMP, a router is able to determine which if any multicast traffic needs to be forwarded to each of its "leaf" sub-networks.

Fusion IGMPv2 features:

  • Compliant to RFC 1112

  • Supports IGMPv1 & v2

  • Multicast support

  • RFC 1112 compliant

  • 100% ANSI C compliant

  • RTOS and processor independent

  • Royalty-free source code license
