DSP OS Changes Name to Unicoi Systems
-- Company to Expand Presence in the Embedded
Development Industry --
Atlanta, GA– April 16, 2003 –
DSP OS, Inc., a leading provider of software solutions to the
embedded device market, today announced that its board of directors
approved a resolution to change the name of the company to Unicoi
Systems, Inc.
According to Unicoi’s President and CEO Greg Coonley,
“The name change coincides with the new direction in which
the company is moving. As a company, we are no longer strictly
focusing our efforts on providing Operating Systems to the DSP
industry. With our acquisition of the Fusion TCP/IP product
line from NetSilicon, Inc., and some soon to be announced strategic
partnerships, we will be able to offer embedded developers all
of the tools necessary to bring their products to market quickly
and affordably.”
The change in name is effective immediately and will not affect
the day-to-day operations of the company.
