DSP OS Announces Fusion QuickStart Platform
for Blackfin

Boston, MA- November 19, 2002 - DSP OS, Inc., a leading
provider of software solutions to the embedded device market,
today announced the Fusion QuickStart Platform for the Analog
Devices, Inc. BlackFin™ DSP. The Fusion QuickStart Platform
for the BlackFin targets the Momentum Data Systems (MDS) Eagle
35 development board and creates an integrated hardware and
software platform allowing product developers to get their embedded
products to market quickly and easily.
The Fusion QuickStart Platform incorporates the Fusion RTOS
for the BlackFin, the Fusion TCP/IP networking stack, the Fusion
FAT 12/16 Flash File System with a Toshiba flash memory driver,
and an integrated driver for the Intel 82559 PCI 10/100 Ethernet
controller. The Fusion QuickStart Platform also includes UART
Drivers, embedded print utilities and a command line interface
running over one of the UARTs. Also included is a limited PCI
driver and a SDRAM driver for targeting standard PC133 SDRAM
memory cards.
Fusion QuickStart Platforms are also available for the Motorola
56800, 56800E, and StarCore™ DSP families.
