Fusion DHCP Client/Server

The Fusion DHCP source code product includes the following functionality:

Centralized Administration

• Configuration of all DHCP clients is accomplished within a single application. Clients come to the server for their addresses, rather than the administrator going to each client.

Economy of IP Address Use

• Scarce IP address space is efficiently used because IP addresses are "leased" to clients for a limited time. This lease concept facilitates the recycling of addresses, which is the heart of DHCP.

Widespread Support

• Fusion DHCP is OS independent. We support Windows 95/98, Windows NT Server, Windows NT Workstation, Unix workstations, and network products from many independent software vendors.

Less Network Downtime

• Fusion DHCP eliminates the need for a system administrator to keep a manual log of all IP addresses. This log keeping is often error prone and a duplicate address could keep an enterprise network down for hours.
